GIS Export Promotion and Development

AM/FM International is pleased to present this new web site as a special service to our members. The site was developed to facilitate member access to the growing application of GIS and related technologies in internationally funded economic infrastructure development projects, and the global trend toward privatization of public utilities and services. The site contains many useful hot links related to export promotion and development, specifically tailored to the needs of AM/FM International members. The site also provides a tracking service for members of specific current projects having, or having the potential for, major GIS components, funded by multilateral development banks and other agencies.

Information on this site is updated on a continuing basis. AM/FM staff provide updates on a bi-weekly basis, and many of the hot links are updated regularly by the agency or department which developed the respective site.

In addition to the development of this site, AM/FM International will continue to actively pursue grants and programs available to the association community which complement and reinforce the association's international agenda.

Based upon the interest and response of our members, future additions to the site are planned. We have provided a sitemap that includes a brief summary of what you can find at this site.
