We are currently seeking applications developers and consultants to join our AM/FM services group. Individual and team responsibilities include: project design and work plan development; database, system, and application design, development and implementation; project budgeting, scheduling, and performance; and user needs assessment. Requirements include a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the application development and programming for, or in the project management of, wireline or wireless telecommunication in one or more of the following areas: network design, customer care applications, facilities and landbase mapping, or data management, including data warehousing. These positions require excellent technical and communication skills. Minimum BS degree in engineering, computer science, GIS, or related field required, MS preferred. GIS/CAD experience is preferred.

Intermap is in the business of producing cartographic and thematic maps from airborne photo/radar sensors. This position will be located in our Ottawa, Ontario office.
As Senior Project Manager, you will participate in contract negotiations and be responsible for the design, documentation, and implementation of the project plan. One the plan has been implemented, you would be responsible for monitoring the project's progress, maintaining client relations, ensuring compliance with customers' specifications, and the development and implementation of contingency plans to maintain the project schedule and budget.
You would be expected to have excellent negotiation skills, strong communication skills, and be customer- and people-oriented. You must be able to manage multiple projects. You will also be expected to balance corporate interests with those of the client.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a degree in a geomatics-related discipline and have a minimum of five years work experience managing mapping/GIS projects of various values, some in excess of $1,000,000. The candidate should also possess a knowledge of contract law and the ability to interpret, assess, and prepare contract documents. A good working knowledge of Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and PROJECT is required. Some national and international travel will be required.

M&M is looking for a software analyst with AML experience to work as a member of our project team. The position requires three years' experience in software development, experience with commercial RDBMSs', experience with AM/FM or GIS a plus, strong knowledge of OO programming techniques, knowledge of data structures, and the ability to travel both domestically and internationally about 25% of the time.
Project Manager
This individual will use project management skills required to implement an ARC/INFO-based AM/FM/GIS solution for an energy or water/wastewater utility, leading a project team of programmers and users. The position requires five years of experience with AM/FM or GIS project implementation and technical responsibilities; two years of AM/FM or GIS project management experience; experience with commercial RDBMSs, working knowledge of OO programming techniques; and an ability to travel both domestically and internationally about 25% of the time.
Computer Software Testing Engineer This individual will be responsible for software testing methodologies, establishing test scripts and acceptance criteria, and performing in-depth software testing in a team environment. The position requires one to two years of experience in software development as a tester or programmer, working knowledge of a commercial RDBMS, the ability to work as a self-starter without supervision, and a willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Experience at an electric or gas utility and experience using ARC/INFO a plus.
